Flor-Essence is a gentle cleanse that supports your body’s natural processes, helping it to remove toxins more efficiently. Inspired by a traditional Ojibwa formula, the 8-herb formula was developed and perfected through years of research by nurse Rene Caisse, with the help of Dr. Charles Brusch, former personal physician to U.S. President John F. Kennedy. The result is a traditional formula that can help the body cleanse itself, naturally.
Ingredients (per 1 tbsp):
Burdock root 171 mg
Sheep sorrel aerial parts 86 mg
Slippery elm bark 21 mg
Blessed thistle aerial parts 8 mg
Watercress aerial parts 8 mg
Red clover flower heads 8 mg
Rhubarb root 5 mg
Non-medicinal Ingredients:
Organic kelp
Suggested Adult Use:
Take 3 tablespoons of the prepared tea 3 times daily. Diluted with an equal amount of hot water, sip slowly. Preferably, take ½ an hour before breakfast and lunch, and on an empty stomach before bed. Each packet makes 1 litre of tea when prepared as directed. The herbal tea you prepare must be kept in the refrigerator at all times (do not freeze). Treat tea in open containers as a perishable food and use within 21 days. Opened containers of tea that have been unrefrigerated for over 24 hours must be discarded. For occasional use only.
Cautions:
This product is not suitable for pregnant or nursing women. Keep out of reach of children. Detoxification reactions include mild headaches, nausea, and flu like symptoms may occur. In such case, reduce initial dose to 1 tablespoon daily for the first week and gradually increase to the suggested adult dose thereafter. Do not take if 1) you are pregnant or breastfeeding, 2) are allergic to plants related to the asteraceae/compositae/daisy/polygonaceae/brassicacease family, 3) are taking products containing diuretics, 4) have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disorder, diabetes or edema (swelling of hands, face, and feet). Discontinue use if abdominal pain, diarrhea or vomitting occurs for over 3 days. Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heart beat, and/or difficulty breathing.
